He is NOT for your kids. He has those pellets in his bottom and they say on them not for kids, also he has "saftey eyes" which I'd prefer you not give your kids in case the saftey fails. Also he's not really washable. You totally could, but he would fade, the color is all inkpad color. Palette ink, so it should be ok, but anyhow... Not totally washable.
